The Bearish OS Calendar Center simplifies the process of managing recurring events and prioritizing tasks, making it easier for users to maintain long-term schedules and focus on the most important tasks.

Recurring Events

Recurring events are designed for meetings, tasks, and appointments that happen at regular intervals, allowing you to set up a series of events with just a few clicks. You can also customize and edit individual occurrences within a series without affecting the others.

How to Create a Recurring Event:
  1. Create a New Event:
    • Follow the steps in the Event Creation and Scheduling section to open the event creation dialog.
  2. Set Recurrence:
    • In the event creation popup, you’ll find the option to set the event to repeat. Choose one of the following recurrence options:
      • Daily
      • Weekly
      • Biweekly
      • Monthly
      • Custom (specify a custom recurrence interval)
  3. Customize Recurrence Settings:
    • For custom recurrences, you can specify how often the event should repeat (e.g., every 2 weeks) and when the recurrence should end (e.g., after 10 occurrences or on a specific date).
    • For weekly recurrences, you can select which days of the week the event should repeat.
  4. Edit Individual Events:
    • Once a recurring event is created, each instance in the series can be individually edited. For example, you might move one instance of a weekly meeting without affecting the rest of the series.
Example:
  • A user creates a "Team Sync" meeting that occurs every Monday at 9:00 AM. Later, they move the meeting scheduled for a specific Monday to Tuesday due to a scheduling conflict. The rest of the series remains unchanged.

Task Prioritization

The Bearish OS Calendar Center enables users to prioritize tasks and events, helping them focus on what’s most important. Each task or event can be assigned a priority level, making it easy to filter and manage high-priority tasks.

How to Prioritize Tasks:
  1. Create a Task:
    • In the event creation popup, select "Task" as the event type.
  2. Set Priority:
    • Assign a priority level to the task or event using the following options:
      • Low
      • Medium
      • High
  3. Task Sorting & Filtering:
    • Tasks with a high priority can be sorted and displayed first in calendar views. You can also filter tasks based on their priority levels, ensuring that high-priority tasks are always visible at a glance.
Example:
  • A user creates a "Monthly Report Submission" task and sets it to "High Priority." This task will be flagged and displayed prominently, allowing the user to focus on completing it before lower-priority tasks.

Managing Recurring Events and Tasks

  • Edit Recurring Events: Users can edit, reschedule, or delete individual instances of a recurring event or apply changes to the entire series.
  • Track Progress: For tasks, Bearish OS allows users to mark tasks as "complete" and track their progress, ensuring that important deadlines and milestones are met.

With Recurring Events and Task Prioritization, Bearish OS ensures that users can efficiently manage ongoing events and focus on what matters most. These features offer flexibility in scheduling and prioritization, helping users stay organized and productive.
